Man shares screenshots of chat between him and an alleged Dangote who offered him N500k to start business
A man simply known as Etubo, has shared a chat he had with a social media user who claimed to be Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
The man had received a message on Facebook from an account created with Dangote’s name and an updated profile containing details of the billionaire businessman’s education and work history.
In the chat, the person who claimed to be Aliko Dangote, sent a DM to Etubo, asking how he is doing and he replied positively.
Shortly after the small talk, the alleged Chairman of Dangote group asked the young man where he stays and said he wants to send N500,000 for him to start his own business.
An excited Etubo who probably thought he was chatting with the real Dangote asked if he should send his number.
But that was when the conversation took a nose dive as the supposed richest man in Africa asked for N100 airtime, and that was when the young lad realised he was talking to an imposter
