Corp member commended for renovating student hostel in Kaduna
A young lady identified as Evelyn Ikogba, has received praises both online and offline after she dedicated time and resources out of her youth service to carry out a humanitarian act.
She used her one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme to touch lives in Kaduna state.
A colleague, Solomon Aye Bala took to Twitter to reveal that Evelyn who was posted to his organisation as her place of primary assignment, used the lockdown period to renovate a students hostel which has four rooms and eight toilets and bathrooms.
The corp member reportedly did the project as part of her Community Development Service and it was unveiled Oct 14, 2020.
Photos of the renovated building were shared online by Solomon and it shows how much effort must have gone into it as the building and rooms look newly painted and clean.
