Man offers scholarship to young boy he met on his construction site
A Nigerian man, Stephen Akintayo has warmed hearts with his kind act to a teenage boy he met on his construction site.
Akintayo, in a post via LinkedIn, said he had visited the site for his Jasper estate project to see how construction work was going and came across the little lad.
According to him, when he heard that the boy – of secondary school age – was out of school and was learning carpentry under the tutelage of one of the workers on the construction site it angered him.
Akintayo gave the boy N10,000 on the spot and offered him a scholarship.
