Lawyer uses cutlass to fight off gunmen that broke into his home in Abuja (Video)
A lawyer has narrated how he fought off unknown gunmen that broke into his home in the Tungan Maje area of Abuja.
According to the man identified as David Aigbefor, he engaged the gunmen who wielded AK-47 and fought them off with a cutlass.
He shared a video of his bullet-ridden home, in Tungan Mage, Zuba axis of Abuja and went round the apartment to show the damage that occurred as a result of the exchange.
Aigbefor who is the Vice Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Gwagwalada Branch in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), said he engaged the gunmen for 30 minutes, before men of the community vigilante group and the police arrived.
He also showed blood stains on the floor which he said was from one of the attackers whom he macheted.
“God delivered me. I was able to fight back even though they were wielding dangerous weapons. Using only a machete, I was able to strike, injured one of the kidnappers.
